Natalie Press
Natalie is an acclaimed English actress, perhaps best known for her award-winning performance in the 2004 film 'My Summer of Love' and a number of short and feature length independent films, including 'Wasp', which won the 2005 Academy Award for Live Action Short Film. In 2006 Press appeared in 'Red Road' which won the Jury Prize at the 2006 Cannes Film Festival. Press has recently been seen in the short films Son by BAFTA winner Daniel Mulloy and in 'In Transit' a World War II drama set in Russia which also features John Malkovich.
Sarah Gavron
After working in documentaries for the BBC for some years, Sarah trained as a fiction director at the National Film & Television School. On Graduating, Sarah Gavron directed the short film, 'The Girl in the Layby' (2000) for BBC TV’s 10x10 series. Her feature length film 'This Little Life' was produced for BBC Films and the UK Film Council and among them 2 BAFTA Awards in 2004 (Best New Director and Craft Award). In 2007 was released her second feature 'Brick Lane' and Sarah was nominated for a BAFTA 2007 and for the Critics Circle award for new directors. Sarah is currently developing film projects with Film Four.
Jody Pope
Jody started out as an usher at The Curzon Soho in 1999, then headed up their private events Department before moving onto The London Film Festival, Soda Pictures and Revolver Entertainment as Head of Theatrical Sales. Jody joined Universal Pictures in early 2007 as Theatrical Sales Manager, working on releases ranging from Ang Lee's 'Lust', 'Caution', to Phyllida Lloyd's 'Mamma Mia'!
Jan Younghusband
Jan is Commissioning Editor for Arts and Performance at Channel Four. Previous to Channel Four, Jan was an independent producer and writer specialising in classical music and opera. She is also a published author of 3 books, including 'A Genius in the Family', which became the feature film 'Hilary and Jackie'. With training in classical music and opera production, she is particularly interested in innovation in the arts on screen, and bringing the arts to a broader audience.
