Clowning Glories: Women in Comedy
In 2008 our silent film retrospective was called Clowning Glories and was part of a larger retrospective celebrating women in comedy film. All events took place at the BFI Southbank, and featured guest speakers including Sally Phillips, Jo Brand and Michelle Gomez.
The commissions were supported by Arts Council England. Events from this season subsequently toured to the English Riviera Comedy Film Festival, Latitude Festival, Dartington Arts, Glasgow Film Theatre and Kings Place, London.

My Best Girl, accompanied by the Elysian Quartet was originally commissioned for the BEV Festival in 2008 where it was a huge success.
