Daring hip hop and grime musical set amidst Birmingham's gangs from one of Britain's most acclaimed and innovative directors.
Flash wakes up to a phone call from Angel announcing that he is being released from prison and wants the £500k he left with Flash for safekeeping.
Short of the full amount and pushed for time, Flash is forced to strike a deal with Evil who more than lives up to his name. 1 Day follows Flash's race against the clock as he's pursued by a rival gang, the police, his three irate babymothers, and his granny.
STOP PRESS: We have been shocked to learn that, on the week of release, West Midlands Police intervened and, despite favourable reactions to the film at a special screening some time ago, advised local cinemas against screening the film.
