Learn more about Skillset's Timeshift programme:

TimeShift is a nationwide flexible work initiative which supports film professionals seeking greater flexibility in their working hours through job sharing their role on production. Once on a production key benefits for participants include £100 per working week towards childcare/carer costs or up to 80% of the cost of course fees up to a maximum of £800.  Production companies also receive £180 per working week per team. Initially launched in December 2005 for freelancers with parental and/or caring responsibilities, we have now opened the criteria to include those freelancers who are juggling a programme of further training with existing work commitments.
