Birds Eye View Film Festival 8-14th March 2007

WORKSHOP: BIRDS EYE VIEW FILM FESTIVAL

The Survival Guide to Screenwriting
Saturday 10th March ICA NASH ROOM: 11AM

TICKETS: £10 LIMITED PLACES AVAILABLE

How do stories work? What does development mean, how do you do it and how do you survive it? What do you need to do to write a great screenplay and get it financed? This is a masterclass (or survival guide rather) run by Kate Leys - feature film script editor and former commissioning editor, festival director, agent, head of development and usherette.

If you’re a screenwriter or producer (or both!), this masterclass will offer a full incite into the art of story and how to develop a strong, individual style.
After all, a good script is the wind beneath the wings of all cinema greats.

Kate Leys will guide you and answer your questions.
