There are lots of grand claims circulating for new technologies - that games make more money than Hollywood, and have a key role to play in our schools, hospitals and workplaces, and that online technologies can do more to change minds and mobilise people than traditional linear media. But how much of this is hot air and how much is of concrete value? This session is co-hosted by Margaret Robertson, Paula Le Dieu and Alice Taylor, who introduce key projects in the online and interactive space to demonstrate what this new content is, what it's accomplishing and who it's reaching.
