Expert speakers and networking with the digital advertising ladies of She Says

Join the energetic ladies of the brilliant She Says digital advertising network for a night filled with women who work across filmmaking and digital media.

Looking at the convergence and divergence of creativity, production and distribution, our speakers are working at the forefront of digital filmmaking. The night will be an open forum starting with short talks by both speakers and Q&A panel looking at the impacts and opportunities of emerging digital technologies.

A little bit about our speakers.

Tavin Marin Titus is a Mulit-Platform Entertainment Producer whose over seventeen years of experience in film, video and digital entertainment in the U.S. and internationally includes a broad spectrum of projects from The Day After Tomorrow to Sundance Film Festival selections On_line and the hit eco-documentary Who Killed the Electric Car?  Tavin recently completed work on a film slate for NBC Universal's Sci Fi Channel(US) which includes the original movie Odysseus & and the Isle of the Mists.  She has worked since the beginning of digital filmmaking and her work has spanned a broad variety of digital and analog formats often melding the best of both to create cost effecitve yet compelling work.   She is currently based in London where she has been devoting time to the emerging market of digital entertainment, developing a new vision for original programming and digital distribution strategies.

Laurence Billiet is the Publisher of Babelgum's Our Earth and Metropolis channels. Babelgum is an integrated mobile and Internet platform that shows independent programming as well as original productions especially commissioned the web, and focuses on 5 core passions (Music, Comedy, Film, Urban Culture & the Environment). Prior to joining Babelgum, Laurence Billiet was the Head of Lonely Planet Television - the in-house production division of travel publisher Lonely Planet. She executive-produced dozens of TV programs for clients such as Discovery, National Geographic, Current TV and SBS and launched travel video sharing site LonelyPlanet.tv.
