BEV Labs
BEV Labs are unique, targeted training programmes designed to untap outstanding female filmmaking potential and hothouse new talent for the benefit of the film industry and the global cinema audience.
To date we have successfully run three labs focusing on writers, Last Laugh: Women Create Comedy in partnership with Warp X, Re:Animate - forming alliances between writers and animators in partnership with Warp Films, and She Writes: focusing on feature screenplay development in partnership with The Script Factory.
Three comedy feature films and three animated feature films have been taken into funded development, and nine full length screenplays completed, as a direct result of these Labs.
All three Labs ran with funding support from Skillset, with some additional funds from Regional Screen Agencies.
