Warm Up For the Oscars with Marie Claire Special Screening

With fingers crossed and hopes high for Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker) to become the first woman ever to win the Oscar for Best Director on March 7, we are running our own competition and planning a special celebration for the big night.
Joining forces with Marie Claire, we asked online readers to cast their own vote for the best woman-directed film of the year - selected from ten First Weekenders Club films of 09-10. The winning feature will be screened, with introduction from none other than screen legend Gillian Anderson, followed by an Oscar warm-up party in the ICA bar - before we all run off to watch the ceremony and watch history unfold...
The Winner is lined up and ready to go, to be announced on the night by none other than Gillian Anderson.
