Lena Dunham's brilliantly offbeat quarterlife crisis comedy took America by storm
22-year-old graduate Aura returns home to her mother’s TriBeCa loft armed with a film theory degree, 357 YouTube hits and a quarterlife crisis. Surrounded by what she could become, Aura just wants someone to tell her who she is. Filmed in her own home with her family as co-stars and conceived, written and shot in three months, Dunham’s debut won top awards at America's trendsetting SXSW festival, the New York Film Critics Society's Next Generation Award, and picked up three Independent Spirit nominations.
'Comedy of touching gravity that finds god in the details... the work of a filmmaker with a stunning future'
