Winner of Istanbul's prestigious Golden Tulip award, Men on the Bridge tells the story of three men whose lives are inextricably yet contrastingly dominated by Turkey's Bosphorus Bridge, a connecting link between Europe and Asia.
Originally intended as a documentary, the film evolved into a fiction feature based on the real lives of the protagonists. A unique portrait of the issues facing a rapidly changing metropolis, Men on the Bridge is Özge's first theatrical feature and was preselected for the Sundance Film Festival's New Directors Award in 2007.
