Valerie is torn between two men. She is in love with a brooding outsider, Peter, but her parents have arranged for her to marry the wealthy Henry. When the peaceful truce between a supernatural wolf and the villagers is suddenly disturbed, there's blood on the ground and murder in the air. Wolf Hunter Father Solomon alarms the villagers, warning that the creature takes the form of one of them by day. As panic grips the town, Valerie soon discovers that she has a unique connection to the beast, making her both suspect... and bait.
