Happy New Year! Though Santa sadly didn't bring us a festival for 2012, we do have some exciting events lined to bridge the gap til we return to full festive splendour in 2013. Funding Transitions and our Year of Pause

Just in case you missed the press, our sad news is that there won't be a full BEV film festival in 2012. It's all down to timing - with the film industry in transition post closure of UK Film Council, the new strategy for festivals hasn't yet been decided, and whilst we go hammer and tongues at sponsorship and other fundraising to make the festival happen each year, we can't whack a 95% drop in the available funds from the public sector piece of our pie. It's okay though, we are using this year to our advantage, prepping already for 2013 whilst working hard to deliver all we can in 2012. Some of which you can read about here, more will follow...
