Last Laugh: BEV / Warp X Comedy Night

A fun-packed night with comedy films, games and stand-up from BEV/Warp X Last Laugh talent.
BEV and Warp X joined forces this year to launch a new initiative to discover and nurture the future of female comedy film writers (read more about Last Laugh here). Tonight we present a showcase of these and other fabulously funny women. We bring you comedy short film, live sketches, panel games and stand up.
Hosted by Roisin Conaty the glittering line up of Last Laugh talent includes Joanna Neary (Actress, That Mitchell and Webb Look), Francesca Martinez (Stand-up comedian, In Deep), Andi Osho (Russel Brand and Friends, The Andi O Show), Catherine Shepherd (Actress, Ruddy Hell! It's Harry and Paul) and Orianne Messina (Actress, Green Wing; Writer, Smack the Pony). Come and have a giggle as the ladies have a lark!

Winner of the 2004 Laughing Horse Big Big Big New Act Competition, Time Out describe Roison as ‘Skilfully adept’ whilst Channel4 reviews declare her 'damn good'. A lady who allegedly got into stand up so she could talk even more than usual, her shows at the Edinburgh Fringe include Bling Blush Bonk and Cakes: Captured.
Joanna Neary
Jo Neary is a Brighton-based British comedian, writer and actress. Her solo character-based stage shows include Joanna Neary's Years Of Pain, Joanna Neary Is Not Feeling Herself and Pan's Person, which received a Perrier Best Newcomer award nomination in 2004.She has also appeared in the TV shows Time Trumpet, Angelo's, That Mitchell And Webb Look and Ideal, as well as the film Notting Hill.
Francesca Martinez
In 2003, Francesca was listed in The Observer as one of the 50 funniest acts in British comedy. She has organised charity shows featuring comedians such as Jo Brand, Johnny Vegas and Al Murray and starred in an episode of Extras in 2005. In 2006 she was nominated for Channel 4’s Top 100 stand up comedians and has had commissions from the BBC for several writing projects. The majority of Francesca’s set deals with her disability, cerebral palsy.
Andi Osho
Andi Osho has made a big impression on the comedy circuit by reaching the final of five major new talent competitions and being crowned Britain's most talented new female stand-up in 2007, winning The Nivea Funny Women Award. She has also written and appeared in the TV Shows The Andi Osho Show and Russell Brand and Friends. In 2008 she has also co-hosted Channel 4’s late night comedy show, Tonightly.
