"Working as an intern at Birds Eye View was an exciting, busy and eye-opening experience into the world of film festivals. Through my work I was provided with the incredible opportunity to see inspiring films from countless different cultures I would never otherwise have got to see, make contact with filmmakers from all around the world and share peanuts with bona fide celebs at festival events! Furthermore, by working for the festival I developed skills in marketing, events organisation and communication that are invaluable in applying for further work in the media" Rosa Crawford, Project Assistant 2007/8 “My
research experience at Birds Eye View, together with exciting responsibilities
like programming BEV events at the NFT, definitely helped me
to get onto an incredibly competitive documentary researcher training
scheme. I'm now working at a great, extremely well-respected production
company and loving every minute... so thank you!” |
