2009 FESTIVAL SUBMISSIONS

Birds Eye View is looking for documentaries, features, short films, new media work and more for our 2009 Festival…
Birds Eye View celebrates international women filmmakers. Our 2009 Film Festival will open on March 5 th with 10 days of shorts, features, documentaries and special events, panels and parties. All events will be held at leading London film venues, including the BFI Southbank and the Institute of Contemporary Arts (ICA).
2008 saw the 4th Birds Eye View Film Festival - by far our biggest yet, with 8 days of sell out screenings at key London film venues – the BFI Southbank, ICA and Curzon Soho, inspiring Q&A's with women directors from all around the world, masterclasses, special cross-arts events, parties, networking and exciting training programmes for emerging talent.

Competition
All selected features, documentaries and short films will be automatically entered into competition for awards. Previous jury members include Juliet Stevenson, Fiona Shaw, Wendy Mitchell (Screen International), Wendy Ide (The Times), Dave Calhoun (Film Editor, Time Out). Awards are presented at the festival's Closing Night Party.
To Submit
To submit films to us please make sure you read the Guidelines and Frequently Asked Questions below. You must fill out a submissions form and send it with a viewing copy of your film, press pack and stills on DVD/CD, and enclose the payment or proof of payment for the correct fee.
